The Butler College of Business prepares students for real life, real business through engaging learning experiences and partnerships with the business community. Undergraduates write a business plan the first year, start a business as sophomores, complete two internships for credit and work with a career mentor. MBA students work on live cases, have an executive coach and start the program with a one-day immersion experience. The Master of Professional Accounting offers tax and financial reporting tracks. Executive Education offerings include coaching and consulting services, and custom and consortia programs for businesses. The Butler Business Accelerator, an in-house consulting firm, serves Indiana companies.
Butler has a very strong career and professional development program for business students. Each business student is given sufficient support to acquire internship experiences, which develops stronger candidates in the workplace. Academic performance is also vital. Therefore, our small classes makes it possible for professors to give each student attention and meet during office hours when needed.
