-The program is excellent for working adults and is a great way to expand your knowledge base.
-Fantastic faculty and part time MBA department and staff. Because of our schedules, they are extraordinarily flexible with our needs. They truly make each person's experience and individual event rather than the feeling of getting herded through the program.
-Classroom furniture and computers for the part-time MBA students are woefully outdated.
-It is a good program. Very comprehensive and good quality instructors. Especially beneficial to non-business undergrads. Unfortunately - it seemed like much of a repeat to me since I am a BSBA.
-Professors need a better understanding of what students have learned in prior required courses. Some professors were surprised that we did not learn a particular concept in a previous required course.
-The Mason School of Business at W&M is more than just a MBA program. It is a very personal program where staff, professors, and students are encouraged to "keep in touch" and become colleagues for life. Everyone at W&M is encouraged not to accept the status quo - the very idea is what has written the history of this country.
-The satellite campus used for the part time program is old and it is clear the business school has allocated it the smallest possible budget for basics such as chairs for students and an the computer lab.
-It is a great program. The students are amazing professionals and you can learn a lot from their experiences. The professors have a lot of years of experience and bring their expertise to the table and are able to very successfully incorporate it into the class schedule so that we can see how everything we learn is applied to real life.
-They could offer more elective courses. The facility currently used for the part-time MBA students is awful, while the undergraduate students get to use a new, state of the art business school. It should be the other way around. There should be more interaction/socializing/networking between students in the MBA program, but full-time and part-time.
-The College of William & Mary's Flex MBA program was very valuable to my growth professionally and personally. The Professors had a unique quality to engage with students and challenge them to learn. Topics focused on today's business environment while appropriately layering in casework and concepts from textbooks.
