-My experience at University of Texas San Antonio was exceptional. I gained a wealth of information and skills that have set me up for a career in executive management. I also plugged into the power network of students and alumni at UTSA that has provided connections that I will enjoy throughout my career in the San Antonio area.
-The professors are very knowledgeable and had an interest in the students succeeding.
-I would really like to see coursework that reflects what is seen in business and directly applies what is learned in the classroom. This was done to a certain extent, but sometimes theory was emphasized more than real world application.
-They offer flexible class times and the professors are very knowledgeable and helpful.
-I would like to see some courses offered online or video conference over internet to help students who commute a lot. But I think the university is moving in the right direction.
-I found the experience, relative to cost and time investment, to be highly valuable. GREAT instructors, great curriculum.
-Smaller classes would be beneficial to provide better discussion. Offering 8 week courses would be great as well as to allow for faster completion of the program.
-UTSA's MBA program offers good academic programs and is able to translate the programs into real world experiences. Professors at UTSA had a combination of experience in industry including major San Antonio employers like AT&T and USAA. I think that my friends and colleagues would greatly benefit from the experience of the professors and other students.
-There could be more flexibility on optional seminars or courses to take as elective credit.
-MBA has definitely provided me with additional skill set that separates me from my colleagues at work and opens the door for new opportunities.
