-It was a worthwhile program at an excellent school that provided the opportunity to learn from professors and each other.
-I enjoyed my experience, however, it is not a convenient location for those who do not live near the city, and does not offer online classes for those who do not want to make the drive.
-The quality of the professors was beyond my expectations. Their attention to detail and dedication to the students surpassed my expectations.
-I feel that since I had a business background that I should have been able to forgo some of the classes and be able to replace them with something that I could learn something new from.
-SLU provided a quality education, allowing the perusal of a variety of emphasis. I also appreciate the Jesuit focus on Service.
-Make everyone work together more as this is really more a networking experience for all of us, which was not fostered. Planning when to take classes was tough as they were not announced far enough out and it was hard to plan when certain classes would be offered. Advisor was hard to communicate with and had to email multiple times to get things done.
-SLU met my needs and was the best combination of quality, affordability and flexibility in St. Louis. The teaching was, for he most part, quite good. The international business classes were very, very good.
-The registration and progress of the program is not clear. There isn't a set of documents that say what courses are available ahead of time to be able to plan out the entire program ahead of time to ensure you will finish when you would like to.
-I was very pleased with the SLU MBA program. I felt like I learned a lot about areas I was unfamiliar with and deepened my understanding in those areas I'd previously been exposed to. I also felt like my classmates were very educated and represented diverse backgrounds, which helped me to get more out of my education. Overall, I felt that the price was reasonable, the professors were helpful and accommodating, and the reputation of the University helped make this MBA appreciated in the workplace.
-I found SLU to meet all of my expectations and needs as a part-time student. The promises they made before I applied about what the program would be like were so compelling that I felt no need to apply elsewhere. I feel those promises were all delivered upon. The curriculum was strong, full of interesting classes that combined knowledgeable teachers with smart, engaging students, and "real world" experience working with local companies. At the same time, everyone was very understanding of the fact that everyone in the program was working full-time career jobs and that sometimes "things" (work-related travel, last minute surprise deadlines, etc) came up. The entire faculty was willing to work with students without sacrificing the integrity of the program.
-School does not encourage collaborative learning, students have diverse experience but there is always focus on class assignments and hardly any focus on team working to share real time experience from the industry.
