The part-time MBA at Rice University is more like a full-time MBA. Therefore, the school does not use the term "Part-time", but simply professional. We had a strict schedule where everyone graduates in two years with the same credit hours as full-timers. Everyone (Full or Part-time) had the opportunity to take any classes we wanted (day-time, nights, weekends) for electives. So classes were mixed with students from all programs. There were simply no disadvantages for being in the part-time program. Professors were the same, career services were the same, all facilities were the same. The administrative staff catered to our needs - mailed textbooks to home, catered lunch/dinner, etc.
