      • -The university and the faculty were superb and I hope to always be connected in various ways to the university. The social life for part time students could be improved but (as a married student) the academics are far more important to me. I would give my BC experience overall and "A".

-There should be more attention given to the part-timers, sometimes we felt 'in the shadows' of the full timers.

-BC provided a very good mixture of part time and full time students in classes along with very experienced teachers. Students that worked harder got more out of the classes.

-BC should make more effort to make opportunities available with Part-Time students in mind. For example, many speakers or career programs are at hours that are difficult for Part-Time students to attend. The school does go to lengths to schedule events for 5pm however many people work until after 5pm and even if not, they would still have to leave work early to make a 5pm event.

-Have loved my experience at BC. The academics have been challenging and the professors have been exceptional in their approachability and availability. The majority of professors are quick to answer questions via email even late at night, which has been fantastic. Have been impressed with the caliber of professors as well.

-Although there is always room for improvement, the program was worth every minute and dollar that I invested.

-I was very satisfied with the Part-Time MBA program at Boston College. I would recommend it to friends; but I would caution them that BC is strong in certain areas - Finance and Accounting, for example - and that if they are more interested in things like Public Service, Non-Profit or Government work, there may be other programs that better suit their needs.

-The career services center is lacking quality professionals who understand the investment management industry. I was unable to get specific, detailed advice or quality resume and cover letter critiques. My career advisor seemed to be burden with my requests and was unable to assist me.

-The Carroll School combines a beautiful campus, top professors in reasonable class size settings, and a very strong worldwide alumni network. I really enjoyed my experience at BC and would highly recommend it.

-I think the career strategies office should be more engaged with part-time students. They seem to think that part-timers are completely happy with their jobs, which isn't the case.

-Very happy with my decision to attend. Will help me build on a liberal arts degree and make me much more flexible with my career path.

-Boston College is expensive and I don’t know if the value is there looking back in hindsight. The quality of teaching varies greatly professor to professor. I would have thought that the teaching would be of high quality across the board based on the reputation and fees of BC. This was not the case.

-To me, it was important to have professors who had valuable and current working experiences, and possibly also currently consulting other companies. BC had many of those, although in my opinion, not enough.

-The course curriculum was fantastic and immediately applicable to my current working position. The professors were top notch and made the effort to ensure each student was given the appropriate level of education. Boston College has a terrific reputation as one of the best MBA programs in the country and the school certainly lived up to those expectations in my experience.

-Boston College was highly rated for its networking opportunities and quality of education. This was the reason I initially chose the school. I attended classes in a few schools offering part-time programs in Boston area to identify the programs I would like to apply for and chose Boston College due to smaller class size, good mix of part-time and full-time students in the classroom, engagement of both students and professors. As I started my education I realized how much more the school offered: the school has many student activities with opportunities to engage for both part-time and full-time students, a lot of effort is put into connecting students from part-time and full-time programs; students are well-informed about conferences in other schools and are encouraged to attend, career development services are informing students of new positions.
