-Our program is unique for three reasons. First, it provides excellent opportunities outside the classroom to expand on your skills or interests through organizations (like the Student Angel Capital Association, Consulting Association, etc) and events (like case competitions and wine tastings). Second, there is a lot of financial aid available and it is often tied to some very interesting assistantships that contribute to the educational experience of the MBA. For instance, I received scholarships and tuition waivers and worked for a local Angel Investing group, from which I learned a lot and made a lot of great contacts. Finally, the Crosby MBA program is extremely diverse. There are students from all over the world who bring in unique experiences and culture, which really adds value to the program. Class discussions are always interesting and insightful with our large international student presence, and learning about other cultures through classmates and friends is an extremely valuable experience to carry into our full-time jobs.
-The candidate pool is basically undergrad BBA students.
-There are really interesting electives that have allowed me to better understand running start-up companies and investing in start-up companies. A lot of experiential learning!
-If we can have more courses available in the finance concentration it would be great. The marketing analytic concentration is unique and they have great faculty who are doing some great work in this field.
-I think we are getting to the point where we could make it more difficult (but not impossible) for students without work experience to get in. Though we do have a decent population of students with 2+ years of work experience, I did have certain classes where it felt like an extension of undergrad, due to the students. I really appreciated the opinions and input of our students with work experience.
-As part of an MU course I went to Ireland for a month and completed a Six Sigma consulting project for Hertz, earning a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. None of my friends at other schools can say they've done anything like that.

-I liked the opportunity to customize the curriculum I took. I felt like I got an MBA that was catered to my interests, as opposed to a "cookie cutter" MBA. I also felt the career services office and the resources they provided were outstanding in helping me get a job right out of school.
-There are a couple faculty members that I feel are too academic minded and have trouble relating the subject matter to real world experiences (personal or otherwise).
-The Crosby MBA program truly cares about your success.
-I think there could be more emphasis on getting higher quality consulting projects. Currently, there is no accountability of our clients, so getting one who is willing to work with a group and share information when we need it (not based on their schedule, but instead our faster moving one) would make the consulting courses more consistently valuable. It is really a hit or a miss if you get a good client to work with. I also think our program needs to work more on emphasizing international and e-business because I think thee two things are becoming increasingly important. They are touched on in case-based courses, like Capstone, but there is not much beyond that unless you take one elective on international business. There is not a course specifically for e-business. Finally, I have seen a lot of engineer/MBAs go to a full time job and struggle with how to manage unions. We never learn about unions or union management and even briefly touching on the topic would make many of the technical students much more prepared.
-I enjoyed the hands-on real-world experience the program offers. I have worked with 4 different individuals or organizations in a consulting role. I have spoken to many other MBA graduates that are very impressed with the experience I've gained through the program.
