-I believe what makes Krannert unique is that you will learn how to quantify things, even if you don't want to. This school definitely prides itself on creating and applying the latest mathematical models and technologies to simple to complex problems.
-Improve career services - form partnerships with more companies to recruit Purdue MBA students. Bring in more companies that hire international students.
-Rather than a program filled with privileged young adults with aspirations to conquer the world and make millions, the Krannert MBA is filled with people from all over the world, from different ethnic backgrounds and income classes. It is representative of the world.
-Although, Krannert promotes its cultural diversity, there is a lack of diversity among these international students. Almost all the Indian students (that made up 1/6th of the MBA class) are from the IT arena. Almost all end up concentrating in Supply Chain/Ops. The Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Taiwanese students make up about 1/3 of the entire student population and usually keep to themselves and rarely interact with other students of different ethnicities and races.
-The Purdue MBA program is unique because it pairs strong quantitative skills with quality soft skills, an expectation for high ethical integrity, development of leadership and team effectiveness skills, and inclusion into the proud 420,000 person global family of Purdue graduates from business, engineering, and all other disciplines.
-To make Krannert stronger, it needs to be more aggressive at getting a better age range in the class room. When the class is more on the early to mid twenties end, there is just not enough experience in the room, and they rely heavily on what the CASE says, versus how should and could this be applied.
-It has an incredibly diverse student body and provides all students with an opportunity to learn about different cultures and doing business internationally in many different cultures.
-Expand the number of employers involved in recruiting in the program. Also, increase the average number of years of experience of students coming into the program.
-Krannert School of Management has an atmosphere that is unmatched anywhere in the world. From the first day of walking into the B-School you connect with the other students and form bonds that go far beyond networking.
-Currently it is a very strong program in Operations & supply Chain. They could improve the position in other core areas like marketing, finance and consulting. Finance and consulting are improving every day but more focus should be given for marketing.
-Very low cost due to generous financial aid package which includes tuition remission and merit scholarships.
-My business program could be stronger if there were a more effective way to communicate with the alumni network and maintain the database of contact information.
-The diversity of students and international opportunities make you prepare for a truly global career. You can travel anywhere in the world, make contacts in any country and pursue nearly any field of study of professional project with the support of professors and professional staff at Purdue.
