The business academic unit at the Daytona Campus was established in 1985 and became an official College of Business in 2004. The College offers a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Aviation Business Administration, a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Business Administration in Aviation Management. The new College of Business building opened Jan. 2008. The 54,225 sq ft building features a number of specialized facilities including: 1)Collaborative Decision Making Suites with linked breakout rooms that allow for the study of group/team formation and decision making, 2) Marketing Focus room with adjacent observation room and audio/video recording capabilities for the study of consumer product/advertising reactions, 3) graduate research room with specialized research equipment, 4) simulation lab for the development and evaluation of aviation/airline operational strategies and processes, and 5) airport operations and technology/teaching airport lab. The College of Business is home to 3 dedicated staff and 23 full-time faculty, 90 percent of whom hold doctoral degrees in a field related to their teaching and research interest.
