-Pepperdine's EMBA program positively shaped the way I see the business world, management careers, opportunities and responsibilities, and the impact of business and economic events and news for my organization and other global industries and companies.
-The Pepperdine EMBA Program is well planned. Though an intense program, it was a worthwhile experience.
-The structure of the program is excellent. The structure forces you to know your current company inside and out. Many light bulbs went off as I delved into all the details. I would completely recommend this program to anyone who wants to be challenged to learn more at their current workplace.
-Pepperdine offers a unique academic EMBA program. It is hands-on from day one and empowers each student to succeed. The school emphasizes learning over grades. It is teamwork-oriented as any successful business should be.
-While I might like to see some modest improvements, I really couldn't be more pleased. I felt completely transformed by this program. The learning challenges were just about right for me, which is to say there were days I wondered whether I could keep up, so it was an appropriate stretch. In addition to terrific faculty, we had a class advisor who was a PhD and who worked diligently to effectively nurture our group, very successfully so. I felt this program represented a serious challenge, which made graduating so very rewarding.
-Attending Pepperdine was among the highlights of my professional career. I will be a lifelong supporter of this university.
-I would have preferred more leadership coaching and simulations.
-It was a great learning experience. All the professors, including class advisors, are dedicated and willing to help students 24-seven. Smaller class size in Pepperdine University is definitely a plus of this EMBA program.
-There is room for improvement in the description of the assignments, papers, etc. There was a great deal of inconsistency between different professors. Also, I would have liked better coordination between the administration and the professors on a variety of issues (food, classrooms, grading, schedules).
-I would strongly encourage senior executives to join this program and gain a broader business perspective. Its academic rigor and applied frameworks are useful right away. Most importantly, the cohort's diversity, depth of knowledge, and class size made this the best program.
-They should use the experience of students more in the cases discussions.
-Pepperdine is an excellent and respected school. The alumni is strong and supportive. The faculty is well educated, published, and provide real world perspectives on solving problems using the techniques in the curriculum. The support staff for the program was accessible and easy to work with. The experience changed my life and helped me develop life-long relationships with not only my cohort, but also with my professors. I am excited to have been part of this program, and I intend to support and be an active alum for years to come.
