Our 248 one-year MBA students are drawn from 51 different countries around the world. The School's main building in the centre of Oxford opened in 2001 and was designed by Dixon and Jones, the architects responsible for the new Royal Opera House in London. Oxfordshire is one of Europe’s leading centres of enterprise, innovation and knowledge. The county has seen a higher growth rate in high-tech employment than anywhere else in the UK and many of its 2000 high-tech companies have links to Oxford University. Oxford University has a strong track record in innovation. It has produced over 100 companies with a combined market capitalisation of over £2 billion. Three Oxford spinouts – VASTox, Evolutec and Physiomics – recently raised a total of £145 million on floatation. A young, vibrant, and innovative business school that is embedded in an 800 year old world-class university. It’s a place where we study how successful businesses appreciate the rules of the game - written and unwritten, but then we study how they can create new games altogether - through entrepreneurship, innovation, and huge infrastructure programmes. As a part of Oxford, we don’t just talk about how business interacts with the broader world, but we experience it as we engage with Oxford colleagues from many other backgrounds and with the broader business community.
