-I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Goizueta Modular EMBA program. My professors were engaging and brilliant, and my classmates enriched the experience in a way I could only have hoped. One of the best investments of time and money I have made.
-The admissions process should have better screened applicants. The majority of my issues with the classroom experience were the result of questions that slowed down the rest of the class. These comments or questions always came from the same few students who, in my opinion, never should have been accepted into the program.
-Emory's EMBA program gives the white glove treatment for its EMBAs. The student quality at Emory is perhaps underrated, these guys and girls are very smart and accomplished individuals. Combine that with a top-notch faculty, great administrative and career coaching/services support and you have the ingredients for a top business school. The school is clearly well funded and the facilities are of the highest quality. I'd do the program again in a heartbeat.
-I’d like to see more direct involvement and follow through from the career services department.
-Emory was a great experience. I grew personally and professionally and was exposed to new ideas, real business world issues and challenges that were current and relevant. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore themselves deeper and advance their professional career.
-I had an incredible experience at Emory. It was worth the time and money and I would do it again with out question. There is a great sense of community at Emory as well as a focus on leadership and has a global perspective.
-The school should use more case studies focusing on topics that address women interests (the HBS case studies were all male focused). They should also use case studies on minority-owned and women-owned businesses.
-Most of the professors are world-class thought leaders. The university strongly stresses community, ethics and leadership. Finance and Strategy coursework were challenging and relevant taught by fantastic teachers.
-The marketing faculty needs to be improved. They are past their prime and their programs weren't well thought out and integrated with the rest of the program.
-It would have been helpful to have more opportunities to integrate assignments that required application to our own business environments, followed by review and feedback by the professors. The opportunities we did receive for this kind of application were extremely valuable.
-The entrepreneurial course should have been the flagship course offered during the last two to three modules with the international colloquium offered during the middle of the program; this way, a lot of the learning could be geared toward and applied to a final entrepreneurial idea or project.
-I’d like to see more emphasis on team building. As an example, include an overall "grade" for team participation. The grade should be derived primarily from the students, perhaps with input from the OB/Leadership professors.
-Our trip to Vietnam, Hong Kong and Mainland China at the end of the program was an amazing experience. It allowed us to reinforce all our learnings for the duration of the program.
