      • -The first year core courses were very comprehensive and useful introduction into the multidisciplinary skills necessary for understanding and managing a business. The professors did an excellent job incorporating a wide range of course topics, and current events for rewarding class discussions. I have the unique perspective of having taken four courses with another MBA program (Rowan), before my course work at Villanova. I noticed an improvement in quality of instruction and class engagement. I especially learned a lot from the business simulations utilized at Villanova.

-This is a very expensive and time intensive degree. It is incumbent upon the university not to treat students as customers deserving to be approved, but as apprentices seeking to be certified as Masters (pun intended). In the midst of a financial crisis, deeply studied, about how society was hurt by the rubber-stamping of the worthiness of an individuals credit, Villanova maintains a degree program that, once accepted into, acts like a rubber stamp on an individual's worthiness to be a Villanova MBA. This does not benefit their students, their alumni, their brand name, the MBA community at large, or the business world. Villanova teaches accountability but does not yet hold its program to the same standard.

-The Villanova School of Business offers great part-time MBA programs that will meet the needs of each individual. The professors have real-world experiences and the passion to teach, while the students are high-quality professionals with the drive to learn and grow.

-I was disappointed in the quality of some of the classes, however, I felt that the coursework in International Business (which included in-country experience) was invaluable.

-Villanova has outstanding faculty, highly customized part-time program options in terms of "pace" and is extremely cost affordable when compared to equally ranked institutions. The ability to chose specific concentration areas, such as strategic management, was very appealing to me as I knew entering the program what I was looking for in terms of next steps in my career path and I didn't have to waste much time in courses other than those that helped me to become more well-rounded in my pursuit of that career path post-MBA.

-It was very pharma focused so a greater variety of environments, like Operations and Information Systems, could be more thoroughly covered.

-The Villanova School of Business allowed me to grow both personally and professionally as it provided an arena for unparalleled learning and networking opportunities. The added degree of flexibility and course offerings of the program are also added advantages that make it one of the best.

-I would like to see greater emphasis and instruction on quantitative financials in the core and capstone courses.

-VSB provided a challenging environment where I was able to sharpen my skills both professionally and personally. The faculty was very engaging amongst the members of the cohort.

-As part of the part-time MBA, Villanova required that we all participate in an international immersion. This trip was an incredible opportunity to experience a different business atmosphere. The group that I participated in went to Brazil, and accounted for 40 students. This group was a little too large, and would have greatly benefited from being restricted to 20 people. The University understands and agrees with this assessment, and plan to offer 3 different trips next year, each limited to 20 people.
