      • -The Accelerated MBA program at SCU caters to students that work full time. We had a great mix of students in my cohort that came from various industries. The relationships I have form with my peers was invaluable. The study abroad trip was an amazing experience. I learned a great deal about how an emerging country works to uplift their economy.

-The program was helpful to my career but is very expensive and may not be worth the cost in the long run. Also, as an undergraduate business major, I don't know if I really learned a ton more than I already knew. Program is better for those with no business experience and need a broad view of all business subjects - marketing, management, etc.

-SCU’s Accelerated program makes it so easy for working students. Everything is covered in your fees. You show up each semester and your books and parking pass are handed to you. Each day before class breakfast is served and between class lunch is served (and it is good!). All you need to do is come prepared to learn and all the little details are taken care of for you.

-SCU should continue to focus on the local industry, leveraging those resources in classroom discussions and seminars.

-It was a great networking experience and made amazing relationships that I will carry on more so than those made in undergrad. I also had a few choice classes with a few awesome professors that made the whole three years of hard work worth it!

-I would like to see an improvement in the administrative support office. They are severely understaffed and often did not produce a class schedule until a week before registration. Availability of this information at least 6 months in advance would help with overall program planning.

-I would urge friends or colleagues because Santa Clara University is a local powerhouse for MBA's. Additionally, for people interested in technology, the school provides many offerings that will address that interest. Also, the school provides a solid blend of the many areas that executives and upper management should be familiar with.

-The program is not ideal for career changers. The career placement office is more of a do it yourself center. They do not provide a lot of help. For the specific field I was looking to go into, Santa Clara does not have the same reputation as nearby Stanford and UC Berkeley. Many companies that recruit at those schools simply do not come to Santa Clara.

-The best thing about the SCU MBA program is that the vast majority of the professors have valuable experience working in the Silicon Valley. These professors have experience working in high risk/high reward startups, and understand better than others the intricacies of running a successful business. I've had many professors who have both succeeded and failed in their entrepreneurial ventures, and both provide valuable insight and lessons.

-They could spend a little more time on the Career Services side and work with local employers more to offer internships and also job opportunities after completion.

-The professors were extremely professional and most had significant experience working in Silicon Valley and at high levels. Furthermore, all of the students who attend also work in Silicon Valley and bring exciting challenges, issues, ideas to class for discussion. Class lectures and discussions are very stimulating which increases your interest for going to school.

-The program is good but the focus is lacking. The guidance to a career plan and on campus interview, relationship with employer is missing.

-The program was a great learning experience academically and personally. I met many people that were high performers and learned a lot from the classes that I took. The program made me a better-rounded thinker, increased my EQ, and allowed me to focus on enhancing my current skill set.

-There is a high quality of education. The night classes allows you to keep your day job as you work through the program. The university has a great staff that is well respected in the various industries. There is potential to meet students that work in various high profile companies in the Silicon Valley which you can network with.
