-The University of Richmond MBA program is an exceptional one, with talented faculty and engaged students. The faculty does a great job of involving local business leaders into the classes, as well. Graduates of the Richmond MBA leave with a solid education and great practical experience.
-The University of Richmond program is excellent; however, it is very long compared to other programs, and very expensive. I would counsel prospective students to weigh these two factors heavily when considering the program.
-The Richmond MBA curriculum purposefully studies the major roles of the C-suite executives. The faculty and staff are friendly and work hard on your behalf. The undergraduate business school is one of the best in the country and in facilities, networking, faculty and other major areas the MBA students benefit immensely. Student services, included career finding/development, are amazing.
-I would like to see a larger selection of electives.
-While there are many fine MBA programs, I have not found any that couple the top academic experience with the flexibility of Richmond's part-time MBA program. Only at Richmond can you be instructed by exceptional faculty in challenging classes with engaged students while also working full-time (and not needing to adjust your work schedule, as required by many executive programs).
-The University should constantly look at the course offerings and updates were needed. The University must lay out class schedules at a minimum one year ahead of time, so students can plan accordingly. The University should also consider allowing more electives vs. required courses.
-Richmond MBA faculty are scholars and great teachers. They add a practical element as well, either involving their own business experience or inviting business leaders into the classroom.
