      • -It's a great program, which offers flexibility and affordability that provides fantastic learning and networking opportunities.

-The classes went beyond a simple lecture format. There was quality discussion time, team exercises and work, as well as challenging assignments that brought real world work in to the setting.

-Online courses for classes that are offered infrequently.

-Great program overall: Satellite location is close to home. Instructors are always available for questions. Advising program and alumni program are very good. Instructors are very knowledgeable. The curriculum and staff are very flexible: provides weeklong and semester long classes. Curriculum also allows for global opportunities and intersession courses. Instructors are open to feedback from students. Good selection of interesting elective courses.

-I was disappointed in the quality of some of the professors in the program. About half of them did not meet my expectations for quality of teaching ability. I was also disappointed with the abilities of some of the students that were admitted to the program.

-I feel the knowledge and perspective once the program is complete will allow most individuals to have a new outlook on today's business environment. One suggestion is to work with your current employer to apply course concepts immediately to daily work tasks for additional experience. Otherwise most of your vision is easily lost and you are left without a voice at the table.

-I think the global business strategy class curriculum should be revisited. Advisors should discuss options for MBA concentrations at the beginning of the program. I wasn't ever sure if I wanted to do a concentration or not and wasn't really presented the pros and cons of why I wouldn't/would participate in one.

-The University of Iowa certainly offers the highest caliber MBA education in our area and it is much more affordable than any of the other (private) options. Highest quality, least cost---I have no idea why anyone would choose another program in this area.

-While overall the program content was amazing and I learned a lot that is applicable to day-to-day business, there was a lot of overlap between the undergraduate business program and the graduate business program that I was unable to be waived from and replace with electives.

-I absolutely would recommend the program to anyone. It was challenging and competitive, so I learned a great deal that I immediately applied in my job. However, the program is flexible for those with children and families who can't take full-time courses.

-I think they've gone to far with soft skills. I would like to see more technical skills and training in finance and economics and less teamwork training.
Have recommended the program to a number of individuals that are looking to move into management. This has particularly been the case for those who have technical backgrounds such as mine.

-There was very little support for finding another job - only one employee responsible for career development for both the full and part-time MBA programs! I did not feel that the career development sessions were very helpful, perhaps due to the heavy workload of the person in this position.

-The quality of the program was excellent. Courses and material can be applied ASAP to current job assignments. In addition, I also recommend the international course(s) offered.
