      • -The international culture is amazing. As INSEAD is a one year MBA, everything is more intense, such as work, experience and relationships. Without a doubt the best year of my life.

-The educational value is good, though not rocket science, but the value of having a year out to meet so many new people and be exposed to so many new ideas is crucial.

-INSEAD has a very collaborative atmosphere. Non-disclosure of grades has a very disarming effect. Students are motivated enough to learn by the high tuition fee, so there is no need to introduce competitive academic pressure and a focus on grades. It also pushes students to take courses on topics they are unfamiliar with, or don't necessarily cater to their strengths.

-This is a one-year program. For someone without prior exposure to business administration matters or education, it is very frustrating to realize that you cannot go in depth in any of the taught subjects (everything happens very/too fast).

-France is a difficult place to be for South Africans who cant speak French!

-INSEAD is not for people looking for drastic switches, but I would definitely recommend it for folks seeking a change in geography.

-INSEAD is definitely one of the best schools for those who want to become a management consultant or to pursue a general management career, but the school is not for a finance guy.

-The campus exchange program (INSEAD has campuses in France and Singapore) is an exhilarating and challenging experience but gives you a true global experience, if meeting classmates from every nationality is not enough!

-INSEAD is a unique experience that is well suited for leaders who have an international motivation and the mental flexibility needed to succeed in a ten month program.

-INSEAD is definitely a "different type of animal".

-The program is short, but what is lost through this is more than made up for by the quality of the experience while there.

-INSEAD is in a class of its own. No business school can prepare you similarly to become a successful global business manager. Its world class faculty, three campuses, and diverse international student body (80 countries represented) has no match.

-The strength of INSEAD relies not only on the education but especially in the great bond existing between the current students and alumni. Anytime I needed some help, I have always found someone ready to help me within one day or less.
