      • -IESE has been a great experience. The school has a very hands-on approach to teaching a comprehensive and integrated general management [course]. The small class size (210 people) yields a very friendly, informal, and close-knit atmosphere among students and professors...Barcelona is a great city and international students are able to learn Spanish.

-Academically IESE is a great school, and from the point of view of learning, I am more than satisfied. It is very international in terms of its student body. The school is making efforts to be international in terms of job opportunities as well. While I believe that in this respect more can be done, I think that the school is making good progress, especially with the increase in the class size which will help attract more international recruiters.

-I honestly believe that IESE is an outstanding business school. I learned more than I ever imagined, not only in terms of functional skills such as finance, marketing, etc., but especially in terms of personal development, social skills, and strengthening my character. I was amazed by how all the courses form a really good and consistent knowledge in all the general management areas. The relatively small student body made it possible to interact extensively with my peers and build lasting relationships that I am sure will be very enjoyable and valuable in the future.

-I had the chance to go on exchange at a top MBA program in the United States. In comparison, I would urge my friends to come to IESE to be exposed to greater diversity, an excellent case method program, ethics topics in every case and class, and multiple languages while analyzing the U.S. economy and business environment from a different and more global perspective. Plus, Barcelona is an absolutely wonderful [place] to live, and the rest of Europe isn't so bad either.

-I am not happy with the career opportunities I had after graduation. However, I feel that would have been the case regardless of the school I attended, because the employers are seeking specialists rather than generalists, which is what MBA programs produce. I believe that IESE gave me the best experience possible given the limitations.

-I would only recommend the school to Europeans and South Americans because that seems to be the places where IESE is really well known. Apart from that, the school has a long way to go to build its name.

-IESE is perfectly situated for American students who want to explore the international business environment in a dynamic and cooperative school environment. As IESE continues to grow in its international awareness, the school will only improve more and more.

-Barcelona was a challenge to live in because the language was a barrier for an international student like me. But those frustrations helped me become a stronger, calmer, and [more] confident person overall.

-IESE has a case study method of teaching and are very strict on discipline, which really helps. It's better than other colleges where attendance is not mandatory and classes are lecture based. One learns more from his peers than by listening to boring lectures. Case studies are the way to go as it is much more engaging and makes people participate in class, thereby making them confident speaking in a public forum.

-Since enrolling in IESE I have three friends who are joining IESE as a result of my recommendation and successful passage through the program. I recommend IESE above all given its humble and truthful dedication to learning and to forming good leaders, its excellent group of professors (who will actually give you classes and know your names) and the very close relationship forged with every person working for the school.

-I think the overall combination of academics, student body, location, and life lessons are unmatched by most other business schools. IESE provided all of the academic structure expected from a top business school, and it included soft skills and ethical values that are difficult to teach through a dedicated course. From a personal growth experience, the diversity of the student body and the possibility of interacting with most other top schools (through events, exchange programs, etc.) was an unexpected value added. I would highly recommend IESE to anyone wanting to develop an international profile and willing to challenge himself both personally and academically.

-When I initially applied, apart from geographical considerations and rankings, I had a hard time differentiating programs from one another. A few schools were more famous for finance or marketing, but most programs didn't necessarily have a real specialty. In my shortlist, I had selected INSEAD and IESE for being based in Europe, well-ranked, and with a certain reputation for entrepreneurship. I ended up on both waiting lists and ultimately got accepted at IESE. Today I am thankful I didn't go to INSEAD because a one-year program would not have given me enough time to initiate a real career change. At IESE, I could use my summer internship, an exchange in Berkeley, and many extra-curricular activities to build credibility in entrepreneurship and innovation, which was my goal from the start of this MBA. And this led me to accept a position as senior product innovation manager at Samsung.

-IESE is more than a business school that teaches amazing tools that can be applied in the professional world. IESE creates a really close community of people, who really feel attached to this community. I was not aware of it until I was part of it. It's more than an MBA program.
