-Cambridge Judge Business School is a very different B-school. The holistic approach to the program is amazing. The numerous on company projects like the Cambridge Venture Project, Global Consulting Project and the Summer Activity gives a window to apply theory to practice and I doubt any other B-school gives this breadth of experience.
-Cambridge MBA is one of the best one year programs in Europe. The spirit of entrepreneurship and collaboration is around you during the whole year. You learn a lot from different areas of business. Above that, there is opportunity to meet lots of people from different background and learn from them. These people are not only your classmates but also those from Cambridge Network, including thousands of undergraduates, PhD students, professors, entrepreneurs, and alumni.
-I think I would recommend my school if they would like to seek entrepreneurship, but if they would like to seek a career in Finance, I would recommend Wharton, for example.
-There are no equals in terms of networking opportunities and diversity of employers. In addition, ideas flow continuously and it is likely that you will have the chance to set up a new business.
-Cambridge MBA is a great experience. It gives exposure to people in very senior places. The rigorous schedule also ensures that students are prepared to cope with the demands of their future careers.
-At the Judge Business School, you don't just get an MBA degree, you get the rich experience of being a student at one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. On top of learning about business, I made a great and extremely diverse network of friends who are perhaps the most collaborative you'll find in an MBA school.
-The courses offered were diverse and well taught and the projects I was able to work on were excellent. Both in terms of the deliverable but also the people whom I was able to meet as a result.
-The Cambridge experience is unique and the course is fantastic, but above all the course attracts a fantastic range of students and I have learned so much from them. It is a small class so you get to know everyone and it really has a collaborative spirit. A top class course, at one of the worlds best know and most reputable universities--what more could you ask for?
-Cambridge is probably not a place for a career changer, especially to finance and consulting field, unless you have other outstanding qualities.
-The governance is poor in Cambridge MBA. I was disappointed at the fact that the school has no academic initiative, as seen in MIT, LBS, Oxford, and HBS. On the other hand, Cambridge environment and historic culture is awesome.
-The diverse student profile does not always allow for numerical outcomes to be useful. Unlike the "international" MBA programs in the US, where 35 percent are international students, Cambridge has a class where 90 percent of the students are well-heeled international students with more professional experience. So I find the nearly all American MBA program's claims of "an international student profile" to be quite amusing.
-Cambridge is under-rated, a bit of a gem that others don't know about. It's perfect--small class size (unlike Harvard, Stanford); personal touch (the Director knows everyone by first name); center of a great university (unlike LBS or INSEAD); quant town...best place on earth for an MBA!
