      • -As an entrepreneur, I believe a number of EMBA schools have overlooked entrepreneurs as a potential market. Moreover, an EMBA can facilitate the development and growth of the companies owned by entrepreneurs. Ivey acknowledges the educational needs of an entrepreneur, but it also understands the wealth of knowledge an entrepreneur can bring to its EMBA program. I am very proud to be a graduate of The Richard Ivey School of Business.

-Ivey engages the class in debate and dialogue, using cases as a springboard into theoretical concepts and deeper insights into business challenges.

-The school should use a better piece of software to share files among the class. We were given Microsoft Groove, and it was very problematic.

-The program was relevant, engaging, and challenging. This program has pushed me to expand my boundaries, build out my strategic and analytical toolkit, and wrapped it all in a cross-functional and global context that is extremely relevant to my career. I would highly recommend it to anyone willing to work hard and take on the challenge.

-The world of modern business is changing rapidly. There's an important role for the theoretical and academic perspectives presented by the program, but it has slipped too far from practical, current management, and leadership.

-The EMBA program should be more selective to ensure that the right applicants are chosen for the program. Some students clearly don't belong in an executive MBA class and are there for the free ride and the title alone. Working with such members on a team is very challenging and frustrating.

-The Ivey EMBA is a truly excellent program, making excellent use of the case-based learning methodology to expand the minds and capabilities of participants. It is a collaborative program, which means that one learns a great deal from one's classmates as well as from learning materials and faculty. Highly recommended!

-There should be more crossover between courses with instructors doing team teaching.

-The program overall was very well developed and very well delivered. To take the program to the next level, there should be more emphasis on learning how to develop new models of analysis/synthesis would be helpful, and more ongoing self-reflection and peer-evaluation to strengthen self-knowledge and leadership ability.

-Some of the professors were truly exceptional. I loved the experience, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

-The program specializes in leadership, and I believe it has made me a better leader. However, I would have liked a course or two on operating a company.

-This was the best immersive learning experience for which I could have ever hoped.
