      • -My only true complaint about the program is not really a complaint. I am frustrated because the UGA EMBA program took me out of my comfortable world and has caused me to think outside the box again. Since the program started, I have taken a material role in the formation and launch of three new companies with classmates, friends, and work colleagues.

-The program had a lot of focus on how to do the analytics and less on how to interpret the results. I would have preferred the reverse.

-I think some realignment should occur within the finance/accounting module. Students simply get overwhelmed with the current method of teaching.

-The finance and cost management courses should be completely overhauled. More real world and current business applications and case studies should be added. Reduce the textbook reading and focus more on case studies.

-My only suggestion is to add even more leadership curriculum activities. Although it was integrated into each course module, I would have liked more targeted time on campus to delve further into leadership/management/leading change. This is simply my personal preference.

-I would stress more in-class participation and better defined grading policies.

-I would have liked to work on real-life problems from companies and provide solutions back to them.

-The support that the staff provided was always top shelf. Specifically, our international residency was to have been in Tokyo one week after the earthquake/tsunami. The staff immediately thought of our safety first and completely revised our itinerary to visit Hong Kong instead. The actions from a logistics perspective were tremendous but the school's ability to schedule the full number of business visits in Hong Kong on such short notice showed the depth of the school's contacts abroad. We did not miss a beat of learning on this trip.

-The online learning platform is adequate but could be improved. When you're used to Google chat/video, Skype, Facebook, etc., you become accustomed to certain ease of use and capabilities that are often lacking in any online learning interface. My understanding is that the software vendor is under review.

-I fully expect The Terry College of Business EMBA degree to be a turning point in my career and future.
