How could your MBA program have better prepared you for your career?
More push on information technology skills and management; that period of time (1990-92) was a few years before the blossoming of the Internet, so I had to pick up those skills independently over the course of my career.--
Risk Management
A mentorship program would have been helpful. This program has since been added in a significant way in the past 10 years.--

Why or why not would you urge your friends or junior colleagues to enroll in the same MBA program?
At least for Wall Street, there is a definite distinction between attending a top-10 MBA program and all others. My advice to anyone else would be to look carefully at their target fileds and geographical preferences when choosing between MBA programs.--
Operations
The experience was enlightening and positioned me well for many different career paths. My career has progressed nicely since receiving the MBA. Incremental economic raises have averaged over $10,000 per year for the past 10 years.--

Why would you have chosen a different MBA program? Please elaborate.
In hindsight, Vanderbilt has consistently held a higher ranking than Emory. I also think the student body is more diverse.--
Operations
In the area of brand managment, I think that the ranking of the school is extremely important in attaining the first post-MBA job.--
Marketing
I did some research and found it to be a well-developed program at a school with a solid reputation. I don't believe it would have been as cut-throat as a Harvard environment, but would carry much of the same prestige.--
Marketing
Please elaborate on whether you are happy with what has happened at your business school since you graduated.
Emory is now the "Goizueta School of Business" with an entirely new building, great faculty and terrific placement.--
Marketing
The current leadership seem to be taking the school in the right direction; they've added programs like evening MBA and PhD track and made the curriculum, student body, and faculty more global; overall rankings have risen slightly.--
Risk Management
Please feel free to add any additional comments about your MBA, and how it has helped -- or not helped -- in your career.
Emory has provided me access to careers I wouldn't have had otherwise. It's also provided trust in a network of faculty and fellow grads that I feel I can rely on. The experience ended up delivering what I had hoped for.--
Marketing
My MBA has changed the trajectory of my career and my life. With the MBA, I've been able to not only have a fulfilling career, but also a life of high impact in my community.--
