Increased elective choices from two 7-week courses to seven 6-week courses chosen by student vote. Introduced two new executive degree programs: (1) Executive Masters in Manufacturing Management and (2) Executive MBA in Health Services Management.

There is an orientation and reception for spouses during the first month of the first year. There is also a holiday cocktail party for students and spouses every December, and a family picnic each fall.
