UNL Omaha's Professional Partner Program pairs EMBA students with foreign business managers enrolled in the university's International Professional Development program. Partners meet once a month at a scheduled sit down dinner for which an international business culture discussion topic is pre-assigned. Additional, unstructured meetings are encouraged.

Laptop Computers: Required for all students and in all classes. There are two classrooms wired with LAN ports and power points at each student position. Each classroom also has a computer projector system and one classroom has teleconferencing facilities which can access landline or satellite links.

Special trips or projects outside of country

UNL-Omaha offers a program-sponsored international business consulting project that replaces the thesis. Typically, the team-based project is a foreign market entry study.
