In 1999, the school added a technology and entertainment residency in Palo Alto and Hollywood.
Two travel residencies are required: one each year for both Management and Finance EMBA programs. (Finance 00: Seoul and Shanghai, Finance 99: London, Frankfurt, Warsaw.) Management 00: Palo Alto and L.A.. Management 99: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing plus add-on weeks to Japan and Vietnam/Cambodia.
Over the course of the 1999-2000 academic year, the school will host the Distinguished Speakers Luncheon Series on E-Commerce.

First year EMBA students travel in conjunction with the course, Integrative Exercises. The location and focus change each year and are determined by selected faculty -U.S. or overseas.
Second year EMBA students complete an international study tour in a country or region determined by class vote. The trip is part of the school's Management Strategy II course.

Programs for the spouses of Executive MBA candidates

Spouse attend a full-day program in the early Fall. The program includes an alumni panel; lectures: managing stress, negotiation; a campus tour and a reception.
Spouces are also invited to dinners, parties, movies, private museum tours with their partners, dances, Rock Band concerts, etc.
