Created in collaboration with the Washington Software Alliance, this program gives participants all the business skills they haven't had time for -- finance, marketing, strategic planning, and more. Students will learn to read a balance sheet, assess new markets, develop business partners, and manage their own staff more effectively.
Participants will be called on to apply their new skills immediately, playing a high-stakes game where they run their own mock "company." They'll compete and collaborate with other "companies" in a rapidly changing global market. They'll test their performance on a mock "Wall Street." Through all of it, they'll be working with their peers in the software industry. In short, they'll take all the risks of making real-life business decisions - without paying the price.
