Comments
|
In coming years the school will aggressively grow this business, which already includes programs in North America, Europe, and Asia. This expansion will include both degree and non-degree executive programs.
T-bird plans to expand its executive education facility in Archamps, France [located at Thunderbird’s European Campus, near Geneva], both in terms of facilities and course offerings. By the year 2002, the school should have the capability for 500 executive education students annually in Europe. It will be adding facilities and courses to its current capabilities in Asia [which includes T-bird's present facility in Japan]. By the year 2002, Thunderbird plans to have the capability for 300 students annually in Asia.
In addition, by 2002, a new executive education center is planned for Latin America. Also, the school's Centers for Business Skills Development, with facilities in Russia [Moscow] and China [Shanghai] are currently in operation, and will continue to provide training in Western-style management for native managers in those countries.
