|
IPMD is a consortium program comprised of the following member companies: AT&T, Dow AgroSciences, Dow Chemcial, EDS, Lucent Technologies, and Xerox. The program, under the direction of the IPMD Steering Committee, is being redesigned to focused on Leading Enterprise Change which will also include shortening the residential portion of the program from 4 weeks to 2 weeks. The new design will be rolled out in the year 2000.

A new feature of the program this fall will be the roll-out of a Time-Revealed Scenario (TRS) developed in conjunction with Wisdom Tools, an educational software company affliated with Indiana University. The TRS is an online, intersession project that will require collaborative tasks fully facilitated by program faculty.

Indiana recently launched a Consortium MBA program in August, 1999 that is comprised of 2 one-week sessions in residence with the rest being delivered online via a combination of Internet and CD-ROM. Other more traditional materials such as course reading packets (books, articles, and assorted hand-outs) are also being used. All subjects traditionaly found in an MBA program are in the program as well. Participants are restricted to those firms who are currently clients of Executive Education (either members of a consortium program or under contract to deliver a custom program).

A new Corporate and Graduate Center will be built at a cost of approximately $35 million. The center will include a new executive education suite of class rooms and administrative offices. Groundbreaking will begin in the fall of 1999 and the center will be open in the fall of 2001.
