Distance courses offered or planned
|
|
Cranfield uses the Internet as a medium for enhancing existing services to clients. For example the school runs a number of electronic communities to continue the communication between delegates and faculty after the course and during modular courses. Materials are being developed to provide supplementary learning for delegates. The school feels that the Internet is a very useful tool for specific applications but does not consider that it will ever be effective to develop senior managers solely through distance learning. The added value that is provided by an experienced member of faculty facilitating the sharing of expertise amongst a peer group cannot be replicated by technology.
