London Business School has picked Robin Buchanan, currently the Senior Partner in Britain of Bain & Co., as its new dean. He succeeds Laura Tyson, who will be teaching at the University of California-Berkeley…The Graduate Management Admissions Council has gone on the road in an effort to make the GMAT test more accessible to potential B-school applicants. A mobile test center bus is heading out on a 27-state, seven-month tour of colleges and universities. Click here to see the bus schedule…The Forte Foundation, a group promoting women's leadership in business, reported a nearly 2% gain in the number of women attending B-school. Two-thirds of the group's 27 members are reporting gains over last year, and more than half of Forte's member schools have women enrolled at over-30% levels. Yale had the highest percentage of women—38%—followed by Wharton and Georgetown, with 36%…Richard Schmalensee, Dean of the MIT Sloan School of Management since 1998, is leaving his post at the end of the school year. Schmalensee will return to teaching and research.
