Stanford Graduate School of Business is one of the most selective among BusinessWeek's top five B-schools, accepting just 9% of its applicants to the class of 2005.

If you're craving insight into how Stanford will select its next MBA class, you don't want to miss this event. We're heading straight to the source: We've invited Derrick Bolton, director of MBA admissions at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, to take your questions during a live chat on Monday, Sept. 13, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

Bolton joined Stanford in 2001 after working in mergers and strategic advisory and in corporate finance for three years at investment bank Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Goldman, Bolton spent two years studying at Stanford, graduating with his MBA, plus a master's in education in 1998. Before B-school, Bolton worked for consultants McKinsey & Co., and studied psychology and sociology at Southern Methodist University.

Your co-hosts for this event will be Jack Dierdorff (BWJack), consulting editor of BusinessWeek Online and former managing editor of the magazine, and Mica Schneider (MicaBW), BW Online's reporter covering management education.

Hope to see you there!

BusinessWeek Online rotates chat days and times so that everyone has a chance to tune in. If you can't attend a live event, you can send Mica Schneider (Mica_Schneider@businessweek.com) questions for the guest in advance, and she'll try pose as many as she can. Please use the subject line "Stanford Chat." Or, you may simply read the transcript that we post afterward.
