Want to write an application essay that will get you into a top B-school? Then you don't want to miss this event. In a live chat on Thursday, Feb. 2 from noon to 1 p.m. (EST), Paul Bodine, author of Great Application Essays for Business School (McGraw-Hill, 2005), will share his best tips. A senior editor at online admissions consulting service Accepted.com, Bodine will take your questions and offer advice on everything from GMAT scores to, of course, essays.

Bodine's clients have consistently earned admission to elite business schools such as Harvard, Stanford, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, MIT, Northwestern, Columbia, and the University of Chicago. A graduate of the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University, he is also the author of Great Personal Statements for Law School (McGraw-Hill, 2005) and a past contributor to the Gale Encyclopedia of U.S. Economic History, the International Directory of Company Histories, the Encyclopedia of American Industry, the Encyclopedia of Global Industry, and U.S. Industry Profiles: The Leading 100. He lives in Southern California.

Your host for this live chat will be B-schools channel editor Francesca Di Meglio (FrancescaBW). Hope to see you there! If you can't attend a live event, you can send Francesca Di Meglio (Francesca_DiMeglio@businessweek.com) questions for the guest in advance, and she'll try to pose as many as she can. Please use the subject line "Bodine Chat." Or, you may simply read the transcript that we post afterward.
