More applicants are turning to admissions consultants for advice on how to get accepted to top business schools. If you'd like a helping hand with your applications, then you don't want to miss the live chat event on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. EDT. Linda Abraham, founder and president of Accepted, an MBA admissions consulting service, will take your questions on everything from how to write succinct essays to what B-schools really think of admissions consultants.

Abraham says she has advised hundreds of successful applicants to top programs. She has authored or co-authored eight admissions e-books and lectured on B-school admissions strategies. The primary author of the Accepted Admissions Almanac blog, she has also hosted more than 150 MBA admissions chats. BusinessWeek.com readers might know her from her long-running discussion thread on the forums (see B-School Forums). In 2006, she co-founded the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants and is currently serving as the group's first president.

Your host for this event will be Francesca Di Meglio (FrancescaBW), BusinessWeek.com's B-schools community manager and reporter.

Hope to see you there!

If you can't attend this live event, send Francesca Di Meglio (Francesca_DiMeglio@businessweek.com) questions for the guest in advance, and she'll try to pose as many as she can.
