Meet Bryan Glover

With the economy in turmoil, many MBA graduates are finding the job search tough going. To give readers some insight into the strategies they’re pursuing and the difficulties they face, BusinessWeek has recruited four out-of-work MBAs to write about their experiences for a new feature called “The Hunt” that will appear periodically on the Getting In blog. Comments, as always, are welcome.

Bryan Glover
is a recent graduate of the full-time MBA program at the University of San Diego School of Business. He has experience in a wide variety of roles for such companies as the FDIC, Qualcomm, Apple, E*Trade Financial, and Verizon Wireless.

He decided to write this blog because his job search has proved quite difficult, and he wanted to provide a forum for readers to hear about his experiences and those of his classmates, as well as giving readers a chance to post comments and share insights about their own experiences.

He is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He joined the Marines right out of high school before starting his professional life. He has a B.S. in business administration (management concentration) from California State University Sacramento (Class of 2006) and an MBA (finance, international business concentrations) from the University of San Diego (December 2008).
