The rush of business schools to the Middle East continues. Ricky W. Griffin, Interim Dean of the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, visited BusinessWeek today and mentioned that Texas A&M is planning on starting an EMBA program in Dubai in the Fall of 2009. Final approvals for the program from Dubai officials are pending.
The program, which will begin taking applications this fall, will be Texas A&M’s first EMBA program outside of the U.S. Curriculum for the program is still being developed. Griffin said that the school hopes to hold three recruiting events in Dubai in the fall and early next year.
