The MIT Sloan School and MIT School of Engineering offer a joint 24-month program called the System Design and Management Program (SDM). It is targeted at practicing engineers who have worked at companies or government agencies that develop, procure, or integrate advanced products and complex systems. SDM courses are offered via videoconferencing, videotape, the Web, and through teleconferencing. Students earn a Master's of Science in Engineering and Management.
