STUDENT COMMENTS

Our career services office does not have the connections to help us finding jobs if you are not in the accounting or finance field within the school of business. It's very frustrating for someone like myself who is currently looking for a job.

There were a few quality professors within the business school, but the majority were mediocre at best. The administrative offices never had any idea of what was going on in terms of following a specific course program, what courses are going to be offered, and providing guidance to students throughout their academic career at the institution. A lot of times you would go to your adviser and he would direct you to the chair of your major's department and he would direct you somewhere else and the cycle never ended.

TCNJ's business program is comparable to top business programs in the country in terms of quality of education. What distinguishes other prestigious business programs from ours is the network that has been established, but TCNJ's business network is expanding. The quality of students at TCNJ is very high. Many are Ivy League-caliber students who chose the school to receive a great education at a reasonable cost. Students are competing for top New York City investment banking and consulting jobs, and over time, TCNJ's business program will get the recognition it deserves.

The professors, teaching styles, hands-on projects, and even social atmosphere is above and beyond what I had expected.

Of course, everywhere you go there will be some disappointing aspects, but here I can honestly say I have difficulty finding them.

The Dean is by far the best I've seen, and I hope to remain in contact with him because he is just one person you don't want to ever forget. He embodies the specific type of professor I have had that demonstrates genuine concern for the students and their life after undergrad. This is indeed appreciated and for this reason alone—anyone interested in attending the School of Business at TCNJ should definitely do so.

I didn't realize how much I was actually getting for the money! It is indeed an invaluable investment. I would recommend it to any and all interested in entering the corporate world after undergrad.
