What special programs are available to business students?
The Sellinger Scholars Program is an academic honors program in business administration. Freshmen completing the fall semester with a GPA of 3.5 are invited to apply with a maximum of 25 students accepted per class year. Scholars students take six 3 credit courses together between the sophomore and senior years.


Work study or co-op opportunities Yes
Work study positions are available at the College as part of Financial Aid packages. The Dean's Office and all of the academic departments employ work study students. We do not offer co-op opportunities.
Study abroad opportunities Yes
The business school offers study tour courses which include classroom time on campus during the regular semester and a two week tour in another country after the semester concludes. Site visits to international corporations and local firms take place during the tour. Summer, one semester and year long opportunities are available through the Office of International Programs.
Volunteer and community service opportunities Yes
The Center for Community Service and Justice offers service opportunities of varying lengths to the entire college populaton. In addition, optional service experience projects are integrated into some of the business courses.
Business clubs and extracurricular activities Yes
Each manor/concentration area in the business school has a corresponding business club. In addition, honor societies such as Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Nu also are active. Two new clubs, Women in Business and Minority Students in Business Administation, have been establishted within the past two years.

Cdigix to provide legal online music. NetStorage for IP access to network storage. GWGuardian to block spam (GroupWise). Upgrade to BlackBoard with the addition of My Content, ePortfolios, Turnitin, and Waypoint. Citrix to provide critical software over an IP conntection. Symantec Anti-Virus for all students. Online career planning tools: Career Leader and Career Beam. Online course registration. Online meal account management. Computers in labs are refreshed on a three year cycle.
