What special programs are available to business students?
International study including semester, full academic year, and summer programs; the Wolstein Society recognizes outstanding undergraduates who represent the spirit of enterprise as demonstrated by leadership, scholarship, community service and professional will; ACTION LEARNING, a 6-credit semester-long consulting experience during which teams develop real solutions for corporate and non-profit clients (i.e., NOT a simulation).


Work study or co-op opportunities Yes
Weatherhead students participate in the University's Co-op and Practicum programs, securing positions in industry with Fortune 500 firms, Big 4 and local/regional accounting firms, etc. as early as sophomore year.
Study abroad opportunities Yes
Students may study at numerous institutions across the globe, from Western Europe to China. We have exchange agreements with universities in Madrid, Spain; Frankfurt, Germany; Montpelier, France; Lancaster, England; Sydney, Australia (students are NOT limited to these destinations, however). Programs include semester, full academic year, and summer sessions.

Business students engage in community service with the student associations. Examples include tutoring and educational programming in Northeast Ohio, mentoring, etc.

Alpha Kappa Psi, the national business fraternity, is open to all students; Beta Alpha Psi and Omicron Delta Epsilon are the honarary societies for Accounting and Economics majors, respectively.
