Technology changes made over the past three years:
This year, approximately 190 new PC systems are being deployed at Olin. This includes all new machines for computer labs, breakout rooms, and classrooms (Simon Hall). The new lab PC's operate at 3.4 GHz with 1 GB RAM and DVD+-RW drives. In addition, three lab printers have been replaced with new LaserJets. Four new group rooms were added to the main computer lab. We also upgraded storage capability, switching systems, anti-spam gateways, and servers.
