2005 GRADUATE COMMENTS
The overall quality of the classmates and the teachers was outstanding. The school facilities were impeccable. The administration was always ready to address any student concerns to make the program smooth for a high-level executive.--Strategy
UCLA had the right mix of quantitative rigor, leadership training, and entrepreneurship that fit my needs and wants. The other schools that I applied to (and was accepted into) did not place as much value on these things as did UCLA.--Strategy
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] The instructors were committed to the teaching experience, extremely knowledgeable in their fields, and responsive to individual needs outside of class time. It would be great for them to include more real-life business experience (in the form of additional speakers or mini field studies) during class.--Marketing
The faculty enjoy teaching the EMBA class, and that shows in their enthusiasm. They are clearly committed to the class and are prepared to spend additional time discussing individual issues. They are on top of their field and call extensively on their external (non-academic) experiences in business. They give students confidence that what we are learning is applicable in our careers. On the downside, sometimes feedback on coursework is a little shallow and somewhat academic in nature.--Operations
[Corporate support?] I am the CEO/President of the organization that paid for my tuition. The organization has seen an increase in revenue of about 50% due to the new knowledge and strategy acquired.--Strategy
[Changes to program?] The program was well organized. I would add the option of taking additional electives as desired.--Strategy
The high point of the Executive program at Anderson is the caliber of the students and the dynamics that faculty applies to maximize the benefit of such a diverse and experienced group of people. I am proud to be part of this community and would definitely recommend the course.--Other
