2005 GRADUATE COMMENTS
The Notre Dame program emphasized leadership and integrity in the workplace. I found there was a lot of value-added components that can't be found elsewhere.--Other
Notre Dame not only provided a great curriculum in functional business areas but also had a strong foundation of ethics, interpersonal development, and leadership. This not only helped you gain the skills necessary to be successful, but also implement them in a way that will ensure integrity and continued long-term success.--Strategy
I would look more at Purdue or Michigan's programs.--Strategy
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] The professors were good at relating the course content to real-world applications, as well as taking complex issues and breaking them down into easy-to-understand pieces. On the downside, instructors were forced to deliver too much information too fast. The professors were often struggling to manage the course curriculum.--Strategy
[Improvements?] I would have liked to see more senior executives from the companies we work for present various decision-making strategies and apply them to the theory we discussed. While the cases we used were good, there is nothing like a live example.--Supply Chain
Some courses required more time to better digest the amount of information presented.--Other
[Corporate support?] I am the twelfth person my employer has put through the program. It has been well worth it for the company as well as the students.--Marketing
[Changes to program?] More concentration on individual work - many projects were team based, allowing some students to make it through the program without truly understanding the concepts.--Strategy
I have sent three additional employees from my company through this exact program. One additional employee is going through the program right now as a result of my recommendation.--Operations
