2005 GRADUATE COMMENTS
School reputation and location are the two most important characteristics of an Executive MBA program. London Business School combines the best of both.--Other
London Business School provided a fantastic experience that is not available in other institutions. The professors and student body are truly international, and the caliber of my classmates was truly humbling. The academic content, as well as the field trip assignments, has given me a lot of confidence.--Other
[Faculty strengths/weaknesses?] Strengths - most of the instructors had solid business experience in addition to academic qualifications. Weaknesses - The school focused on hiring star teachers who sometimes focus on teaching to their own strengths and interests but don't work to make connections between subjects.--Finance
[Improvements?] I wish there had been more debate about political issues like the role of government in business, ethical questions, as well as the sometimes destructive cultural and environmental effects of corporations.--Marketing
[Improvements?] The school needs better catering. Food and facilities were not very good.--Marketing
The one major weakness of the program was that it was too focused on technical skills. Ethics were addressed in passing but not integrated into the core program.--Finance
[Changes to program?] The program needs better career services, resources, and service. The current service seems to cater only to people in consulting and finance while other industries are ignored. There is not enough of a link with creative industries, which make up a big part of London's economy.--Marketing
