2005 GRADUATE COMMENTS
This is probably the best school in Shanghai. However, there are probably other options in other cities which are better.--Operations
[Changes to program?] Better preparation by the teachers. More up-to-date cases. Better coordination between the different courses.--Operations
Some modules need more time for feedback and re-thinking. A four-day program may not be able to provide the opportunity for discussion among classmates and professors. If a more flexible arrangement is applied, say a consecutive three-weekend module, the result might be improved.--Strategy
The program needs more elective courses and more communication with other outstanding B-schools.--Operations
It would be great if the B-school could set up a small business with a small budget and let students operate it, and then help them to apply the work to the theories in the courses.--Other
[Corporate support?] It's more important for the sponsoring employer to provide a flexible workload during the EMBA program than to pay the fee, etc. I believe that most EMBA students would improve if they could spend more time learning the theory and communicating with each other without such a heavy workload.--Other
