CLASS OF 2004 GRADUATE COMMENTS

[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] As a U.S. student, I found the learning experience at Thunderbird unlike anything I had experienced before. The reason for this is the fact that with a student body consisting of roughly 50% foreign students, you learn just as much about business around the world from them as you do from your teachers. Plus, the campus is small and promotes a sense of community.--Finance

For a prospective student interested in interational business, I would strongly urge them to pursue Thunderbird as an option. The school is a highly specialized MBA program targeting students who are pursuing a career in global business.--Finance

I would urge anyone who is interested in an international career to consider the benefits from the full-time MBA program at Thunderbird. The level of classroom study is outstanding but the real benefit is from the cultural atmosphere and diversity of the student body, which is not easily duplicated by other programs.--Marketing

[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] Thunderbird is the number one international business school in the country, and I feel like I received a world-class education.--Consulting

My consulting experience at Thunderbird was my best academic/professional experience to date. As part of the experience, I traveled for two weeks to Latin America to independently collect data from foreign governments. The course gave me the confidence to arrange a long schedule of interviews in foreign countries. The final presentation to the client at the end of the semester was especially rewarding because I could clearly see how we were adding value for the client.--Not Available

I worked on a brand management project where we we were assigned with the task of rolling out a well-established Latin American brand in the United States, specifically targeting the U.S. Hispanic segment. The project integrated the challenges found in cross-border branding with one of the hottest consumer segments in the U.S. It was fascinating and extremely current.--Marketing

I was part of a consulting project for a major financial institution. I presented to the board of the company and our findings were actually used to conduct business decisions by the firm.--Finance

I was involved in a class-wide project conducting an analysis of the future possibilities of the Light Manufacturing Sector in Moldova. The project taught me techniques for finding data on lesser discussed countries and for doing a complete sectoral analysis within an economy. It also exposed me to the vagaries of consulting for a part of the U.S. government.--Not Available

This school has moved much faster than other schools when it comes to the importance of international business. While all schools now say they teach international business, this is the only school that incorporates the proper topics to make that true.--Marketing

Going to Thunderbird was the best decision that I ever made. The experience was a tremendous benefit for me both personally and professionally.--Finance

One important factor why I considered Thunderbird was the fantastic and always helpful and friendly student body -- a great community. Prospective students should visit the campus and get to know students and professors -- even in the pub on campus.--Marketing
