Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business

CLASS OF 2004 GRADUATE COMMENTS
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] The instruction provided by the professors was the best I've ever received. Much more impressive than the law professors at Pittsburgh and the undergraduate professors at Yale. Financially, the one-year MBA program provides the means to expeditiously earn a degree while saving extra tuition money and salary lost while in school.--Not Available
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] I think that the faculty at the Katz school was outstanding and that it is a worthwhile investment.--Consulting
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] Katz provides an excellent learning environment where professors know your name and background. The experience is intense but fun. For peole who feel that they could perform well under pressure, this is the right school.--Finance
We did marketing research for a company through our enrollment in a class. The experience was great, and it really helped me apply the concepts that I had been learning in all of my marketing classes.--Not Available
I enjoyed my business school experience so much that I decided to make a career out of it. I have enrolled in the PhD program at Katz and eventually expect to become a faculty member at a business school.--Consulting
In addition to the traditional one-year program at Katz, the school also started a two-year program in the 2003-04 academic year. I feel that this impacted the overall quality of students admitted this year. All of the students were extremely bright and outgoing, but because many students were fresh out of undergrad, they were not able to bring real-world experience to the table. I also feel that the addition of the two-year program impacted the number of course offerings for the summer. Overall, however, Katz is a fine institution, and I would recommend it to just about anyone.--Operations
Business school has taken me from a narrow interest in engineering to an understanding of everything that a business must do to succeed.--Marketing
I was a part of a case competition that dealt with the use of voice software. It was my first experience with a start-up firm and really gave me some insight into what it means to start from the ground up.--Finance
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] Professors and staff are accessible.--Finance
Katz is fantastic, in part, because it is small enough for students to get tons of individual attention.--Not Available
