CLASS OF 2004 GRADUATE COMMENTS
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] Overall, the program is very strong. UF MBA program is a good value for the cost as well as the quality of teachers. The modular schedule allows exposure to lots of different materials in a short period of time. It is definitely an intensive program.--Consulting
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] With the low tuition and low cost of living, the ROI of the one-year program is really high.--Marketing
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] It opens up so many doors. Although I had 10 years experience before B-school, certain doors were closed since I was specialized in the accounting profession. The MBA allowed me to open up new doors without starting over again. My present employer would not have looked at me as a candidate two years ago.--Operations
The school has a center for entrepreneurship and innovation, CEI. CEI allows students the opportunity to do consulting with start-up companies. I had the opportunity to work on a CEI project and found it useful for the field of marketing research.--Consulting
I took a business plan analysis class where a CEO presented a current case/situation in his company and my group provided strategic alternatives and scenarios to help him make a better decision. It was a fantastic experience.--Finance
Myself and two others completed an outside project with a local entrepreneur. The project reinforced material covered in entrepreneurship and marketing classes. In fact, the experience and resutls went far beyond the classroom level of understanding.--Operations
The quality of education I received was a life-changing experience. It is amazing what one does not know and should know about the business world. I am well prepared to meet the challenges that will present themselves in my future career.--Venture Capital/Private Equity
[Recommend program to friends/colleagues?] There's nice weather, good professors, and a beautiful campus.--Not Available
[Did consulting project enhance learning?] Being able to apply what we had learned in the classroom to a real-life situation clarified the entire program.--Entrepreneurship
