Technology changes made over the past three years:
During the last three years, SMU Cox has undergone a classroom technology renovation. Classroom systems were standardized; DVD players were introduced into all classrooms; new teaching lecterns were custom built; projectors were replaced with new higher lumen projectors; the entire a/v infrastructure was upgraded, and touchpad interfaces were improved. The Cox Wireless network was finalized, enabling students and staff access to networking capabilities throughout the Cox School without having to hardwire their laptop computers to a wall jack, and outlets at each seat in the classrooms were added so that students could use their laptops during lectures.

The B-school has awarded 9,251 executive MBA degrees, and 9,251 MBA degrees since its founding. It has 9,042 living MBA alumni, and 40 MBA clubs throughout 16 countries, where B-school alums can participate in school activities and alumni events.
During the past 12 months, 17% of alumni gave to the school's fundraising efforts. They gave a median gift of U.S. $100, and a mean gift of U.S. $654. The school has not received a gift in excess of U.S. $10 million between Jan. 2001 and Oct. 2003, and the B-school endowment is U.S. $114,571,171
