I think the program at Olin is a good balance of in classroom learning and out of classroom experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of students that were enrolled as well as the faculty and the resources available. -- Consulting
Olin is a program that offers quality time with teachers and staff. There is a friendly environment that encourages cooperation rather than competition. The quality of lectures and knowledge of the faculty is top. There are a lot of activities to do outside the B-school. The Placement Center helps you in any way possible to get excellent jobs. -- Project Management
Olin, like every other business school, is the right fit for certain people. Many of my friends went to small engineering schools and have very strong personalities. Olin is a great place for a person who thrives in a small community with many leadership opportunities, and I think many of my friends fit into that category. I feel that Olin is a highly responsive school to student requests. Students have the flexibility in requiring new courses in game theory, real options etc. and the administration is flexible enough to float these new courses on student demand. I liked the flexibility in carving out my own MBA courses and learning courses specific to my career goals. -- Finance

I would definitely recommend it to those who have the motivation and resources to complete a more self-directed job search. Outstanding stable of visiting and permanent professors, cooperation promoted through the lack of emphasis on grades, and extremely responsive administration. Add to it the ability to take joint degrees as well as individual classes at other schools at Washington University and you get an incredible educational experience. -- Finance
