CLASS OF 2002 GRADUATE COMMENTS

The Marshall MBA program is really an eye-opening program for any international student. Not only have I learned a lot about the latest finance knowledge but I also have established future business contacts with world business leaders. I also found Marshall faculty and staff are among the most supportive group in all the business schools I have visited. They are readily accessible, nice, and patient with students. -- Finance

The school loves it’s students and tries to find a way for everyone to tailor their education to a specific field. -- Real Estate Development

The USC program gave me the tools to convert from biochemical engineer to private equity associate. I have the tools and experience to move forward with no ceiling! What more could I ask for? -- Venture Capital/Private Equity

The MBA program at USC is well worth the cost, time, and effort. It has definitely advanced my professional career to a level that was previously unattainable. I believe all the faculty at USC is truly some of the best MBA faculty a person can find. They are truly committed to helping each and every student achieve their goals. -- Investment Banking

I would definitely encourage others to enroll in the full-time MBA program at the Marshall School of Business. From the first day of orientation, the school prepared us well for the internship and job searches that would occur. In addition, the curriculum was outstanding, being structured in a coherent fashion and providing enough repetition of particular topics to reinforce what had been learned in previous classes. Lastly, all of my classmates were excellent team players and the 300-person class size allowed students to really network with one another. -- Marketing

Marshall is on the rise. Every program has flaws, but USC seems dedicated to recruiting the best and brightest to improve. Depending on what my friend was looking to do with an MBA, I would suggest Marshall. -- General Management

The USC Marshall School of Business really gave me the opportunity to learn and grow through the educational and professional interaction with my peers, staff, and professors. USC really enables students to get the most out of their education and professional experience. We were given many opportunities to challenge ourselves and others. My overall business knowledge and world experience has grown tremendously and I feel extremely comfortable in any business environment. -- Marketing

Marshall School of Business provides an outstanding MBA program that enables you to think business issues from several different perspectives and act appropriately with your strong leadership and teamwork skill. Major advantages are excellent faculty, diversified student body, global business emphasis, location, and state-of-the-art school facility. -- Information Technology

I would encourage friends and family who plan to stay in the California area to strongly consider Marshall. The alumni network is powerful, but regional at the moment. If a friend were planning to return to the East Coast after B-school, like I am doing, I would let he or she know that they'll have less support than if they chose to stay in Los Angeles or San Francisco. -- Foreign Embassy

Marshall's curriculum really trains you to handle high pressure and manage tough workloads. The program has given me the knowledge and confidence to take on any challenge I might face in the working world. -- Finance

I found the MBA experience at Marshall to be very enlightening, as I found out more about what goes on in the world of management than I thought I would have. In addition, the breadth of people and their backgrounds was amazing, as Marshall's international focus is becoming more and more apparent. I have definitely had my eyes opened as to what business in the future will be like. -- Operations

Marshall provided me not only with a good education and challenging experience, but really emphasized a team concept and lined me up with many great connections in the business world. -- Information Technology
